Craig,
who specializes in oils, has been painting for over 40 years.
Although he has studied at several art schools, including the
Royal College of Art in London, he is largely self-taught.
This
American artist has traveled throughout the world, experiencing
the rich and diverse cultures, customs and scenic grandeur of
such places as France, Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, Italy,
Austria, the Netherlands, Greece, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Spain,
Portugal, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, New Zealand and Australia,
only to name some.
Additionally,
over the years, Craig has journeyed extensively throughout the
North American continent, including the lower 48 states as well
as Alaska, Canada, Mexico and Caribbean Islands.
His
art work reflects a combination of influences from the Naturalism
and Realism styles prevalent in the late 18th and early 19th centuries,
the Barbizon School that flourished in France in the mid-19th
century as well as that of the French impressionists and post-impressionists
in the later half of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Craigs
work can be found in many private and business collections worldwide.
